I’m holding a camera so you know I am a photographer

I’m Sandy, I’m a massive photography geek, I love looking at any location and working out where best to put myself or my subjects so they look great. I’m into learning new camera tricks to create surprising effects and gorgeous pictures. Literally everywhere I go, I’m looking at what would make the best shot, I can’t help it, once you learn it, it’s how you see the world.

TIMELESS, CLASSIC PHOTOS IN A BRIGHT AND COLOURFUL STYLE

I love bright and colourful photos, because for me, that’s what weddings are all about – it reflects the joy of the day. I know dark and moody is totally on trend right now, but that just doesn’t scream joy to me. I try to edit my photos in a timeless classic kind of way, the last thing I want is for you to look back at your wedding photos and think ‘Ugh, they are so 2023!’

This means I know how best to achieve great photos in any situation. If something goes slightly not to plan I’ve probably dealt with it before and know what to do.

I WORK INCREDIBLY HARD

Nobody works harder than someone who loves what they do. I get comments on how hard I work at every wedding. The thing is, it doesn’t feel like it to me. I’m getting to do what I love and I’m surrounded by people who are in a good mood, having a great time. I can’t think of a better situation.

MORE THAN JUST A PHOTOGRAPHER

I’ve been to a ton of weddings so when the little things come up that you suddenly realise you have no idea about (because why would you know how to attach a button hole?) I’ll be right there to lend a hand. I’m organised and reliable, so you don’t need to worry about me being in the right place.
